Great homecooked food. Friendly service in casual environment. Love the fish platter that comes with white beans and two sides. Delicious! I already been back!
Road trip. Ended up there for Sunday Dinner. I should have known better to order Ribeye at a place that doesn’t specialize in Steak.
Would consider going back but would try the fish, which seems to be their specialty.
Service was outstanding. Even in a mob of people the staff handle it all with smiles and accuracy. The food and prices were great. Lots of choices - something for everyone's tastes. Quick and gracious service.
Good food at reasonable prices. Crowded Sunday around noon.
Here are the good points: baked potato was good-my husbands Grilled Chicken Salad was good-the decaf coffee was good-the Service was good-hush puppies were good-The Texas Toast was good. . The bad points: I ordered the Ribeye Medium it came out Well done and a lower quality meat-it came with slaw-white Beans-cornbread and hush puppies and Texas toast which was a odd combination to begin with. The slaw was ok but really was basically cabbage with very little dressing-cornbread muffin was very sweet and had lots of flour in it-the Tea was VERY VERY weak with No Tea flavor at all and if you are a Iced Tea person, that’s a No No, so after leaving there we went through McDonalds and I got me a tea.
The food was great and the people were friendly.... I would go again. The fish was great, a must try...
